This is my 1968 Chrysler Newport Convertible getting ready to pull
25 Girlscouts in a Christmas Parade. The car is 440 powered with a 727
torqueflight. While the Newport seats 6, carries more in the trunk that a minivan
does behind the rear seat, and is rated to pull a larger trailer (5500#) than many
pickups, it will still smoke rustangs and screaming chickens. The new convertibles do not
have room for carrying the wife and three children--they only have room for a
girlfriend. The float trailer is on a 50's pickup chassis.
