This
is my truck purchased in Tempe AZ in Aug. '99. I drove it all they way
home to Warren , Michigan with no break downs 2,216 miles. It is
powered by a '78 225 super six (2bbl) and 727 automatic. It has a 3.55
gear and screemed all the way home at 65 to 70 mph. It was repainted
in'87 by it's previous owner. I have purchased a D-440 to put in the
box and make a street legal wheelstander. I worked for Dodge Truck
Div. back in the late '60s and worked on the subframes for the wheelie
trucks like: Little Red Wagon, The Teleflex Trick Truck, The Hemi
Hauler, The Bardaall Bug, etc. These frames mounted the engine and
trans and rear axle in one unit that hung from under the trucks.
