I bought the truck with
16,000 miles. Since then, I've added enough mods to the motor to bring 0-60 times from 9.8 to a best of 6.3.
This sure isn't a yuppies 4x4, the truck is more than capable on or off
road. Best 1/4mi time of 15.4 at 89mph.
Mods include:
8.25" sure grip 3.90 axle, 4sp auto, 318
Ported throttle body
14x3 K&N open element
JBA cat-forward headers running through dual glasspacks
Mopar Performance computer
180° thermostat
Hayden electric fan
ASP underdrive crank pulley
Accell Supercoil, Brass cap & rotor
MSD 8.5mm Super Cunductor wires
Autolite 3923 plugs
and some personal mods to the intake manifold
I'd like to thank those on the "DML"
(Dakota Mailing List) www.dakota-truck.net
couldn't have made the truck like it is without the members' inputs.
thanks
