1967 Plymouth GTX By Robert Shumate

1967 Plymouth GTX Race - Image 1.

This Is My Mopar:

Attached is a .bmp file of our 67 Plymouth GTX. This car has been a drag car all of its life. The car was an original 440 4-speed car. The original Dana 60 rearend is still used today. The car was a factory demo car. It is extremely modified: glass doors, fenders, hood, deck lid, aluminum interior, tubbed, lexan windows. We run a stroked 400 block that is 472ci., Powerglide, and Dana 60. Dana is secured by 4-link bars and coil-overs. Car has never been cut on. It has not been back or front halfed. All original unibody. We race in Super Street at all of the NHRA drag racing series in Div III. The class index is 10.90 in the quarters, but the car will run 10.0's at 139mph. Owner: Booker Brothers Racing
