Mopar Truck Of The Month January 2017:

Here is my 1957 DODGE D100 Pickup it's a rare original push button auto, big back window truck.

On the outside:

The paint is 2 tone with the Bright white areas having the paint mixed heavily with blue pearl and the remainder in Dodge Viper Blue. It's driving on 15" Crager Street Pro 390 wheels tread with BFG TA Radial's. A set of peeps mirrors replace the gawky originals and 68 B body rear side markers plug the original tail light wiring holes in the bed sides. The yellow Mopar script fog lights on the front bumper are run with an old school lighted interior switch. I went with a 70 Scout front bumper the only non Mopar Part on the truck to lighten up the look on the front of the truck. My homemade rear valance features reversed 70 satellite tail lights and a frenched in 70 Challenger back-up light that works off the backup pushbutton. The rear license plate mount is from a 72 Satellite which will fold away for access to a future hidden receiver hitch. The bed wood is western red cedar milled from a 1927 date coded reclaimed power pole. The interior of the bed and the bed wood stays are sprayed in blue color matched bed liner.
