1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 Emailed By Randy Dumont

   Here is a car that has a lot of history with its owner Scott Dumont. Originally purchased for a couple hundred bucks back in 87, it got a quick custom paint job to get it respectable in time for the senior prom! It quickly earned a "bad reputation" around town for being an asphalt terrorist and all area authorities can attest to this. It went through a number of  performance changes / upgrades for a number of years .TC I street fighter 727 trans, 3.55 suregrip and a rebuild  /  head work on the screaming 340. It then saw its playing time greatly reduced ; marriage, house , kids, ya know we all go through it sooner or later. Scott never thought of getting rid of the car and he knew he  would get to it someday. Then last year I picked up a "toy" (the 69 Bee  next to it) I let Scott take the Bee for a spin and it rekindled his addiction to speed!! The dart went through a full-blown resto/restification, Motor and trans overhauled , new brakes all around ,new chrome, new interior, and an indescribable stereo system, remote power locks /security . To make sure everything was done" his way" He did everything himself!! His wife was and family were instrumental with help and support during the year of work Id say he has a hell of a second family car now, and nothing is quite like loading up the three girls and wife and heading out to a local cruise nite, except...........getting out and terrorizing the local authorities!!
