I purchased this 69 bee
from the great nephew of the original owner. She was 70 years old when
she bought the car brand new off the lot of Snowden motors in Kennebunk
Me. The guy must have won a ton of #1 salesman awards. 383 auto, R6 red,
with red interior, black roof,and white stripes, not to mention the rare
side scoops!!! This lady had to be quite a character. The car spent its
entire life in a garage/barn in Kennebunk Port and it managed to
accumulate 47,900 miles on it. I can only imagine how this screamer
stood out among the silver/grey, and black shades so prevalent to the
Mercedes, BMWs and other euro/luxos that make up most of the K-Port
traffic!!! I wish I could have seen the mouths of her neighbors drop
when she rumbled by in the Bee!
