Here are some photos of my 15 year old
Son's 1969 Javelin. It has been a Father / Son project, but didn't need
much. It is a 2 owner 1969 Javelin SST with a 290 V8, AT, PS, PDB, Floor
Shift, Console, Bucket Seats, Air Conditioning, Tilt Wheel, and Factory
Tachometer. It only has 63,000 miles on it, and it runs as tight as it
looks. The car was garaged most of it's life, luckily for us!
We removed the vinyl top last Summer because
it was shredding apart, and we decided to leave it off and paint the
roof the factory red. The side paint on the car is all original from the
factory!(notice the shine). We dualled off the exhaust and put V Force
Mufflers on it.....it has an awesome "throaty" sound to it now. (Gotta
have that "rumble") ;-)
We take it to our local car shows and it's
fun to watch people checking it out. Lots of "Oohs and Ahs" and
comments like "I remember Javelins" with a smile on their face. Future
plans? We have a factory rear spoiler to put on the trunk this spring
and we already have the stock "Mark Donahue" decal for it too! And maybe
a factory roof wing if we can find one. ;-) Mopar, or Nocar!!! ;-)
