Hello from the middle of
the Caribbean! This is my 1 owner Ensign Blue 1979 Dodge Aspen with the
R/T package. As of today it has over 250K miles on the odometer (erased
twice) and still runs like the day it was purchased. Original engine was
a 318, 727 Trans, 7 1/4 Rear End with 2.76 gears. Other original options
include (NL29G9B), Bucket Seats, Floor Shifter, A/C, P/B, Cruise Control
and rally wheels. My 318 is due for a routine check (bearings, Oil Pump,
Camshaft etc.) Here are my engine spec's:
Engine Block Bored .040 pistons
Mopar 509/290 Camshaft
J Heads 195/160 Valves
Victor Jr Intake
Holley 750
Cyclone Headers
6A MSD
Mopar Electronic Ignition Package
Trans Adapt Remote Filter Adapter
M/T Aluminum Valve Covers
I was just given a 400 CI
big block out of a 1976 Chrysler Cordoba. I am going to add the 400, to
change the soul of it. I have noticed there are some on the web with
this engine and some with 440'S also.
Thanks,
Alexis D. Nieves
