My Mopar is a 1976 Plymouth Volare'. It was originally
a 318, 4 speed Roadrunner. It now has a 1966 383
bored 30 over, Eldebrock DB4B aluminum intake,
Mopar performance electronic distributor, larger cam, 727, Torqueflite transmission with shift kit, 8 3/4" 323
suregrip rearend, Keystone classic wheels and
Headman Headers from a "B" body. It has a
custom hood that was made by welding a 1973 Roadrunner hood bulge on a
Volare' hood. This car was converted to a big block
before you could buy mounts from the
aftermarket. I am usually the only Volare' at any of
the shows on Western
North Carolina.
