Here is a couple pics of my 1977 Dodge Aspen R/T. It
still runs with the original drive train. Everything
has been rebuilt to be able to handle the weekend
abuse of drag racing. The 360 has a 284-484 MP cam,
ported, polished and 60th milled, 2.02 intake valves replacing the 1.88,
air gap intake just installed, with a 750 cfm edelbrock
carb,and flow-tech headers. The trans a 904, has a
3500 stall, low gear set, 5.0 lever, race band, and trans-go shift kit,
works great (Thanks to Dean Stillie), and the factory 8.25
with the MP sure grip and 3.91 gears has been
problem free for 3yrs now. The car has run a best of
12.81@105.29 60'1.70 at 3490# with driver. Hoping for a low 12 this year
after weight reduction. Thanks for having this great site it has so much
info for everyone's taste in MOPARS!
