1970 Dodge Challenger SE
converted to a 4x4 some where in Missouri many years ago. I've only had
her about a year. The engin(400bb) and drive train originally from a 1973
Ram Charger 4x4. She rides on 4 fat micky thompsons with 4wheel hi, 4hi
lock, 4lo and 4lo lock (no 2 wheel drive at all). It still has the
original slapstick shifter, which seems to work properly. Am currently
working on re-wiring front to rear (had to keep battery unplugged due to
short) it was a mess under the dash. The original plan was to paint and
use as an attention getter for my small business in the future. These
pictures were taken last year just after I bought her. Included is a close
up pic of the trunk lid, somebody spent a pretty on her at one time. The
builder also welded a solid steel bumper skirt all the way around her,
yes! even the fender wells are virtually indestructible! I did a little
off roading just after I got her then garaged her until about a week ago.
She fired right up and runs better without the dash harness than with! am
almost finished with creating new harness and am getting very excited!
