Here's a picture of my Aussie-made
1972 VH Valiant Hardtop. I've replaced the original 318
V8 with a modified 360 V8, which I previously had in a 1970 VG 2
Door Hardtop in Australia. It's currently running a Crane Hydraulic
cam, forged pistons, Edelbrock Performer intake and a Holley 600CFM
carb, and a set of Pacemaker headers running through into dual
straight pipes (it wakes up the neighbors I think!) The A727 trans
is as smooth as, and the car travels along quite nicely. I had it
repainted three years ago by Peter Douglas of Nelson NZ, who I
reckon did a great job for me. Still things to do on the car (as is
always the way) so i've got more hours in it and under it yet!
