This 1969 Dart is completely home
built with the exception of the 727 trans, and 440 machine work. The
heads are iron 346 pieces, owner ported, with 2.18/ 1.81 s/s backcut
valves Crane gold Race roller rockers, Hughes solid cam, Hedman fender
exit headers,830 Holley, Edelbrock TM7, all MSD ignition, etc. It is far
from dialed in, as my son and I have kart raced the last three yrs...He
has just turned 16, and may turn him loose as driver with me as tuner.
The best E.T. to date is a 12.49 @108 mph @ 5400 elev. I am quite sure
the car will break into the 11's with carb tuning only..I'd love to go
to good air and see it get into the 10's! The only light components are
scoop and bumpers. The car weighs 3550 with driver. It's real fun to
drive on the street
