Hello, here are some pictures for your
Mopars of the Month Section. The car is a 1973 Dodge Charger SE.
We performed a frame up restoration from April 2001 to July 2002. The
Charger has been kept original except for the spoilers and wheels. The
B3/Petty Blue is the factory color along with the original vinyl top.
Interior is all original with the addition of an all hidden aftermarket
Alpine MP3/CD player in the glove compartment. 6 1/2in. component
infinity speakers have been hidden behind the door panels. Slots milled
to match the rear factory speaker’s slots which have been filled with
Infinity 3 way 6x9s. All powered by a Alpine amp mounted under the
passenger side front seat.
The Power plant and drive train are all
numbers matching, the 400ci is old and tired. A new 440 is ready to be
dropped in this winter. It pretty much has been built to stock specs.
An Edelbrock 650 sits atop the
stock manifold. The block has been
deck and freshened up with new seals and gaskets. Aerohead 452 heads release the gases
through the TTI headers and out
through Flowmaster 50 series exhaust.
We think its a little “Different”!
Thanks,
Nathan Scott
