This is my '69 Barracuda (now known as the
Bitch 'n Blue). It's been my labor of love for the past almost 3 years.
She was my first car that I bought 2 weeks before I turned 16, I learned
to drive in her and managed to put 900 miles on her before I had to tear
her apart to fix all the cancer spots. She still sports all her numbers
matching equipment, however, everything has been reworked.
Her 225 slant six now sports .060" over
pistons, polished journals, block cut .110", head cut .020", 1.70"
intake valves, 1.40" exhaust valves, 10.5: compression, Offy 4BBL intake
manifold, 450cfm Holley 4BBL and a J&R 6 into 1 header. I rebuilt the
904 with heavy duty band, clutches and seals and installed a B&M Stage 2
shift kit to keep the shifts crisp and firm. I also upgraded to an 8 3/4
rear end to make sure the power would get planted where it was needed!
The car should be done in the next month or so and will definitely be at
Carlisle 2005!
