My name is Daniel Orr, 20, and am a student
student studying Mechanical Engineering at Tennessee Technological
University. Here are some pictures of my 1973 Barracuda. It has a 340
cu. in. engine bored .30 over with roller cam and rocker arms, keith
black pistons, and J heads. The car was restored by my father and I
while I was in high school and it took about 2 and a half years. The
color is a 1999 prowler yellow color and we added the 340 hockey stripe
and the AAR spoiler. It was made for driving, it has the 727 torqueflite
transmission mounted in behind is a gear vendors over drive and I am
runnin a 3.55 positrac rear-end. At 60 mph the engine is turning 2100
rpms. It has been to the Mopar Nats in Columbus, OH once and to Somerset
Cruise-in in Kentucky many times. It is very fun to and no it isn't for
sale. Don't crush 'em restore 'em, you won't regret it.
