I started with a 1983 Ramcharger, because it
was a cherry body with no rust, I transplanted a 98 Dodge 5.9 magnum
engine into it with a dash out of a 98 Jeep GC, along with all of the
wiring harnesses, upper and lower consoles, seats, door panels and
accessories. I also added a 9000 lb. Warn winch & bumper and the grille
from a 93 RC. I plan on keeping this vehicle forever, and then passing
on to my son. This was originally a Sheriff's Dept. patrol vehicle, and
has a 3:21 positrac. I upgraded the transmission to an A-518 for the
overdrive.
