This is my 72 Polara California Highway
Patrol Special. Its 1 of only 1,100 produced for CHP. It is fully
documented and numbers matching, has been restored to original "In
Service" condition with the correct radios, lights and sirens for that
year and specific to CHP. Mopar added options (Not available to the
public OR on other models) such as an Engine roll restrictor for torque
purposes, a modified 727 police trans without a governor, a certified
140 MPH speedo and a CHP only Ivory plastic steering wheel. Other unique
items are the HD cooling (7 blade thermal fan) for the 440 Cid "HP"
engine, an A/C cut off switch and the original California air-pump for
emissions. Mark's Polara was originally featured back in
January 2005.
