I purchased this RC about 8 years ago
for 1000 bucks. The teenage kid that was given it by his grandfather
didn't like it. Seems he wanted a little Toyota or Honda, turned out
to be my lucky day. The rig was a California vehicle and only had a
salvage title because they couldn't locate the title. My wife did a
little sleuthing and within weeks we had the title was able to get a
clear Oregon title. I've stripped out the lean burn junk, added
headers, performer, and 1406 Edelbrock. Gone through the
transmission, added fresher bucket seats, steps, and push bar. The
engine is a strong 318, with great compression and oil pressure. But
I do have a fresh built 360 on a stand waiting to go in when the
time is right. I just added Lokar throttle and shift cables this
weekend.
