I bought this Ram
Charger about 3 months ago it is a 1989 royal 150 4x4 with a 360 v-8
auto, it did not run very well because the former owner had
installed headers and a cam and tried to reuse the fuel injection.
the lift was installed wrong and they did not have steering
correction in it so it also drove terrible. I have spent the last 3
months correcting all of this I installed an edelbrock intake and a
carter afb carb with a pro fro ignition , mallory fuel regulator,
converted the charging system to the 77-87 style with an external
regulator. the truck runs great now it has tons of power , the axles
have 4.10 gears with a locker in the rear. To be honest I never
really did much with dodge truck until this one it was very solid
especially for the north east and only had 60K on the clock . I have
to say this is one of the most solid driving suvs I have ever owned
, And I have had my share of other full size trucks the thing I like
the most is the fact that you don't see ram chargers around every
corner like other suv's, they stand out. All I have left is the
paint and I have not decided on a color yet, But soon I will make
her look as good as she runs.
