1998 Dodge Dakota R/T By Chris

1998 Dodge Dakota R/T By Chris

This is my 1998 Dodge Dakota R/T bought used with about 60000 miles on it. I got it a couple summers ago as my daily driver when I transferred from Minnesota State University. My other car is a 1975 Plymouth Duster and just isn't reliable enough for commutes and cold weather. I just realized I don't have many updated pictures of it. I'll get some up soon. The truck is mostly stock [currently] as I don't have much money to put into it, or time for that matter.

Performance Mods: Headers [I believe shorty headers, previous owner did that], Dual Inlet Breather w/ K&N filters
Cat-Back Exhaust, 255/60/17 Dunlap Performance Tires [little wider tire which I like]. Considering 'slapper' traction bars, Performance trans with shift kit [its about that time]. This list totally needs to be longer, and I have plans to add to that hopefully soon.

Cosmetic Mods:  Smoked single-piece clear headlight/corners and better bulbs [looks sweet and can see way better at night], Halogen/neon halo foglights [also helps seeing at night], After-market CD deck with two 6.5 and two 4.5 Infinity Speakers [not the stock ones, way better], Billet R/T third brake light cover [soon to be painted black], Ram head brake light covers, Inside-blue leds to match the cd player, Decals galore [mostly performance related-under the hood, on the windows-mopar, 5.9L 360 Powered, ram heads etc].

Considering: Smoked LED brake lights, Cowl Induction Hood, Grille Inserts of some sort [but those are way overpriced, might make my own], 'Rhino' Lining, Soft cover [low profile], Tailgate Lip, Street Scene Roll Pan [gen I], New Paint Job [with a little different placement on r/t decals], Subwoofer, Custom Exhaust with outlets in front of rear tires [like the challenger t/a style] and Racing Style Seats with 5pt harnesses [for fun].
