1966 Chrysler 300, my dad bought the
car in 1968 when I was four. He passed away in 1982 at 45, I was 18
(now I'm 45), since then I owned the car, always thought it would
make a sleeper hot rod. 1984 I replaced the original 440 TNT with a
1971 Magnum which I had bored 60thou, shaved the head 20thou and
also the block, med cam, double roller timing chain, Edelbrock
intake,780 Holly, headers, shift kit, and 456 rear gears. August 14
2009 I finally took my car out of 11 years of sitting in a rented
backyard garage now I have my 11 year old son to help on restoration
work. Of coarse mice nests and some rust took some toll, Seats are
out for sand blasting, paint and recovering. needs some frame work
and later a body and paint job, some rechroming of parts,
brakes...etc... yup a project, hopefully ready for spring 2010.
