440'S Mopar Truck Of The Month For
September 2009: I fell in love with this truck the
first time I drove it, I was in highschool and this was my first
truck. I bought it in 01 and the restoration/build didn't start
until 05 (after college). Anyhow, it now features new paint (and a
lot of new sheetmetal), 4 inches of lift, 35" dick cepek radial
FCII's on crager rims, 4.10 gears, front and rear limited slips
(auburn gear out back, dana trac loc up front), Tom Woods custom
driveshafts (both dual cardon shafts), fully re-done interior with a
powerful sound system (pioneer deck, alpine type R sub, vented
enclosure, Zapco amp), autometer gauges, edelbrock intake and carb,
headers, true dual with crossover, msd ignition, electric fans, kc
daylighters and dual charging systems & batteries. I love this truck
and plan never to sell it. Somewhere down the line I would like to
build the little 318 and include fuel injection, along with an
aftermarket overdrive for the 727.
