1969 Dodge Crew Cab Camper Special. My
father owned this truck since 1981. I had the joy of driving "The
Long truck" in high school. Over the last 10 years my father has
been rebuilding it. He has replace the original engine with a 440 he
built. He also added tubs to the long/wide bed and put a dully rear
end with custom made air suspension under it. Every part, every nut
and bolt and wire and weld, he did his self. Unfortunately he died
of lung cancer before he got it finished. That job has come to me,
as has the truck. It still needs paint, some wiring, a new gas tank
and interior work to make it complete.
