8/25/2010 Update: New for 2010. Just
when you think your done with your restoration, it is time to start
again as some of the repo parts aren't holding up as well as
advertised. The front end that was totally gone through with rubber
bushings and boots lasted about 7 years and 8,000 miles before they
when south. This time it was all redone with polygraphite parts.
While it was apart all that satin black paint and epoxy primer was
blasted off in favor of an in house powdercoating. A set of 3:23
gears in a 489 housing replaced those noisy 3:55s. All the rocker
and wheelwell mouldings are finally back on the car. The final touch
was the AM/FM conversion of the factory radio and addition of 4
channel sound. Never missed the radio until I finally got one in it!
Ken's Plymouth Belvedere was originally featured in
July 2006 and updated in
January 2009.
