1978 Dodge Lil Red Express.
Pulled out of a snowbank in march of 2011 and rebuilt motor and trans to
factory spec. This truck has a Numbers matching 360 that is factory
painted red and I know the original owners son and he verified that the
red engine is factory. Note the angle cut tips on the stacks. My friend
has original pics of this truck when it was new and these tips are also
factory. When I bought the truck it came with all new N.O.S. body parts
for the resto but for now I'm having too much fun with it unrestored. I
drag race it at Brainerd Int'l Raceway and it does the quarter in 14.95
in street trim. If you have any info on why this truck has a red motor
and the weird stacks let me know. I was told it was possibly the
prototype for these trucks!
