Mopar Car Of The Month for May 2014: 1965 Plymouth Satellite. Owned for 12 years, my Satellite started life as a white car with a 318 poly. This was a one owner car (93 y/o Pennsylvania gent) that was offered in an estate sale. I purchased it and spent 8 years completing a nut & bolt restoration/modification. I felt it was a mistake for Chrysler to discontinue the max wedge after 1964 since very few buyers could purchase anything beyond the 426/365 hp. street version in 65. This car was restored/modified to assimilate what I feel should have been available off the showroom floor in 1965.
