This Is My Mopar:

Hi, Here are the pics of my 68 Barracuda Formula S. I bought the car when i turned 16 and after lots of work this is what i have got 4 years later. Its no longer a daily driver but it gets taken out at least 3 or 4 times a week and if the dragstrip is open its there. The motor is still the original 340 .060 over with a clevelite 298/508 Cam and Rhoads lifters.

The heads are the Stock X heads with some mild port work and stainless SI engineering valves 2.05 on the intake and 1.60 on the exhaust. The fuel gets there VIA M-1 single plane intake and a 700CFM Holley Carb. The lower end consists of the stock rods with the beams polished and shot peened and a set of KB pistons bring the compresion to 9.8:1.The stock 727 was replaced with a 999 with a turbo action 3800 Stall 8" Converter and followed up by 3.91 gears and an Auburn Pro-series Diff. To this date the car has run a best of 11.99@112 MPH on a 26x 8.5" slick and a 12.88@113 on a set of BFG Radial TAs.
