Hey I just found your site. I like it. I have
attached a picture of my car. I will be making a page for mine before too long.
I have a 1972 Charger Rallye 440. I bought it in 1983. It is an original 440
Rally car. It has a 727 with a Cheetah manual valve body. (A must for all my
Mopars) It was totaled out a few years later and it spent 10 months in the shop.
The frame was bent and the left frame rail had to be replaced. At this point I
did a full restoration. When it came out it had red candy laquer paint and a
Ramcharger hood. Less than a year later it was hit again. For 7 months it was in
the shop again getting the frame straightened among other repairs. Now it looks
like the photo I sent you. Still red candy and still with a Ramcharger
hood. It has had mostly 440's in it over the years including a 6-pack. For
about a year I had a 426 Hemi in it. Now it has the 440-4 like it had when it
was new. It also has the factory intake and exhaust manifolds with no chrome
under the hood. I'm just hoping it does not get hit anymore. I do not race it
anymore but it used to run mid 12's with street tires in it's prime with the
440-4, a big cam and carb, a big gear, and NOX.
