Hello 440's Place...
I'd like to submit three views of my '71 Charger R/T.... So, a little
about her First, she's a "survivor" for the most part...
Everything for the most part is original... the paint, the interior, and
the drivetrain. The only change is the new vinyl top which needed to be
replaced due to the
sun baking it pretty good.... The car's a highly optioned dealer demo.. it
pretty much has all the bells and whistles: 440 4bbl/auto, 3:55 sure-grip,
pw/ps/pdb/, AC, front/rear spoilers, 15X7 ralleys, exhaust tips, stripe
delete, light package, hood pins, concealed headlamps, full vinyl top,
am/fm stereo w/cassette and mic, driver's 6-way seat, headlamp delay,
pedal dress-up, console, Ralley dash, driver's convenience package (low
fuel/door open/seatbelt lights), hounds-tooth
cloth seats and two others I've added: rear window defroster and headlamp
washers... I am the second owner of the car....... I've had the car some
11 years now and have resisted painting the car,,, for it has no rust and
the original paint still shines up nicely, but is wearing thin....
they're only original once and the interior is in great shape...... The
car has been a trooper in taking me to many shows and cruises during my
time of owning her... The front suspension has been rebuilt and four new
BFGoodriches installed... She drives like a champ and I've taken her to
the Nat's once and that was a thrill.....
well, thanks for the opportunity and keep up the good work....
regards for a fellow mopar enthusiast...
