Hi. I’m Paul
Shaffer from Frederick, Colorado. Been driving ‘ol Betsy here on a
nearly daily basis since 1983, when I bought her from the original
owner in Denver for $1k. She’s taken me back and forth across the
country a couple times and been to Panama Central America in the mid
80’s, where I had to refuse selling her every other week or so. The
car is basically all original, including the forest green paint. I
added a new Holley carb (stock) and dual exhaust with flowmasters a
few years ago. She has a 440/350hp motor w/727 trans and 92+k
presently on the clock. Apart from normal maintenance, which I
actually enjoy except maybe for the busted knuckles, she’s been
almost trouble-free all these years. I think I’ll keep her…
