This is our 1972 Dodge Demon. We
purchased the car in 1997. It was stored by the previous owner back in
1985. Body was excellent but drive line was in bad shape. Rebuilt the
340 engine, 727 transmission and rear-end in 1998. Spent a year
fixing... mini tubbing, new leaf springs, Moser axles, larger bolt
pattern, brakes, etc. etc..
Car was freshened again last year. We
installed a new 340 block which became a 416 ci. stroker. Gave the 727 a
full reverse valve body with a 4000 stall converter and redid rear with
4:30 Richman gears. We've run the car at the strip and it "Rocks!"
