1966 Charger with a 1969 440 Magnum
automatic. Mostly original, unrestored condition. Just under 80,000
miles, painted a Honda Pearl White in the 90s. This car is originally
from California (featured here Nov 2001). Interesting thing is I was
living in the same town it was for sale in when I lived in California
and I didn't see it. I moved to Texas, the car sold to Tennessee. I
bought the car from Tennessee about a year later. I've since converted
to electronic ignition, rebuilt the transmission and added pin stripes
to the hood lines, trunk and along the top of the windows. Next project
is to rewire the entire car before it gives out from age and rebuild the
dash gauges (tach doesn't work and one headlight motor stopped working).
In the mean time I have fun blowing away the new "Hemi" cars and trucks
showing them the old cars are far away better!
