Recently acquired this
Chrysler New Yorker on E-bay, after a 3 year search, it was time to
"make the move". My Chrysler is a 4 door hardtop powered by an "almost"
stock 350 horsepower 440 with a thermoquad carb and tuned exhaust. Have
only driven it once (just couldn't wait until spring) but was really
impressed with the power and stability. It is a pale green with a black
brocade interior and has every option but air conditioning (going to see
what I can do about that). Chrysler made consistently impressive cars.
Too bad the indestructible drivetrain turned out to be the Chrysler's
undoing, many ending up as demo-derby cars. Also, lots of the 440's were
put in Road Runner and Superbee "clones"
