Here is my long term project. Originally a
San Diego, California car, that I begged and pleaded to buy from the
original family that bought the car new. As I found it, it had a spun
rod bearing, and had been sitting in the weeds for about ten years. In
the last eight years that I have had it, I had the original 361 rebuilt
by Ed Hale, in Lakeside, Ca, and just went through the original 4 spd,
replacing the clutch and pressure plate.
When I started working on the car it
had a white vinyl top, that was about wore off, so I just finished
peeling it, and buffed the paint. The body is 100% original, all dents,
and VERY small amount of rust shows on the rear quarters. It will get
done some day?? Fun to drive and show off, even though its no show car..
