This 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner is a numbers matching RM23 car, this includes engine, transmission, rear end, intake & exhaust manifold, radiator & water pump. Matching VIN is present on rad support and trunk lip and fender tag. Refinished many years ago with the Sunfire yellow it was born with, correct interior, vinyl roof, and factory stripe. The only items not original are the battery, ignition, belts, carb and rims/tires. 383 Super Commando V8 Big block is a high performance rated engine capable of turning a 14 second quarter mile. It is matched with a Hurst 4 speed transmission, a 3.23 Sure grip axle, and with the most sought after 8 3/4-inch "489" case rear end

The complete powertrain was rebuilt approx. 4 years ago with less than 2000 miles since rebuild. The engine runs incredibly smooth and starts instantly. It manual transmission shifts with precision and ease. This California car has original floor pans, all body panels, alignments, and sheet metal are in excellent condition. A small section of floor was repaired behind the drivers seat and trunk pan was replaced at some point. The overall paint, although not perfect, is good, with minimal skim and no visible issues. The chrome is in overall very good condition. The Interior was completely redone with correct NOS seat covers, headliner & carpet. This car is a straight and original driving Roadrunner. Past summer work included a 12" front drum to disc brake conversion, air shocks, minor suspension work, and installation of halogen headlamps.
